Dedicated to Mary McHugh and   James  Regan ...

You mourn your slain fiance
You embrace your humble hero's tomb
At Arlington National Cemetery
That is truly a sad sight.. ..
Your picture runs into the World's hearts
It is so moving for today and tomorrow
Evryday becomes a Memorial Day for you

You mourn your slain fiance at Arlington National Cemetery
Your beautiful body of a young fiancée
As Long Island taking him in your beloved arms
You lie on top of the dearest grave
That moves us with silent tears falling in hearts
You are in white against the green
Your body stretches along the length of this cemetery

You mourn all wonderful sons in this home
The bell tolls for all
who have done their duty and gave the ultimate sacrifice

You mourn your slain fiance
You embrace your humble hero
At Arlington National Cemetery
A powerful feeling place to be . . .
Your bottle of water seems endless as your ideal love for him
An American flag is sorrowful in front of each tombstone
The sunset is bleeding inside your heart and thoughts
Your face buried in your hands
In front of your slain fiance's tombstone
These images touch these lines of poem
Your vase with white flowers
For remembering his odessey without return
You lie next to the fresh white tombstone
You want to kiss him again and again by breaking the coffin
Only perfect Love knows how great is your fidelity

You mourn your slain fiance
You embrace your humble hero
At Arlington National Cemetery
I just can't imagine how you feel at this moment Mary ?
Perhaps you are dreaming a dream within a dream
Your couple planned to marry in 2008
After your fiancé says farewell to arms
You hoped to live closer to your family
The veteran hoped to become a teacher
His wife will be a doctor
You are dreaming a dream within a dream
You lie next to the fresh white tombstone
You want to kiss him again and again by breaking the coffin
Only perfect Love knows how great is your fidelity
An American flag is sorrowful in front of his tombstone
The sunset is bleeding inside your heart and thoughts
Your face buried in your hands
In front of your slain fiance's tombstone
That's a best reminder of the somber truth.
I can't continue to complete this poem
Millions of love-forever couples broken by War
Millions of endless mournings are the best love songs
